This month Mandi and David officially united to become Mr. and Mrs. Kooken. Their family and friends were in attendance at a beautiful Church that was originally built in 1903. The couple choose an array of warm fall colors to accent their ceremony and reception.
The day couldn't have been better for wonderful outdoor photos. The area around the church and reception hall was full of surprisingly scenic pockets of shade and outdoor scenery. Mandi, pictured above, is seen shortly after the wedding ceremony. She smiles softly, perhaps happy to relax after all that planning and preparation, or perhaps, the surrounding woodlands have reminded her of the small bug that the flower girl saw in Mandi's hair during the ceremony. Guests chuckled briefly at the incident, but don't worry Mandi, the bug was certainly a sign of good fortune!
No, it wasn't the bug she was smiling about after all. It was certainly the thought of her Groom. David flashes a grin as he looks at Mandi from across the lawn. Photos aren't one of David's interests, but he was a great sport to work with!
The two come together for a few photos with each other. The sun broke over the trees and the two were nearly silhouetted in sunlight. What a lovely couple they are together!
The reception was a joy for everyone. The celebration commenced with lots of food and beverages, however the real centerpiece was the cake. The couple diligently cut the cake and shared a piece without icing being spilt (or smashed). The little ring-bearer was especially excited to get his own piece of cake as he waited by the table patiently.
It was a great pleasure to work with Mandi and David to get a fantastic set of wedding photos. The couple had nearly 400 pictures to choose from that included many shots of their family and friends. Interested in getting on-site photos for you and your family? Send an email to: Norblepic@gmail.com
