Megan & Jim Wedding Ceremony at Valley Falls State Park

On the first of July friends and family gathered to celebrate the long awaited union of Megan and Jim.  The two have been an item for years and it was finally their time to make it official with an old fashioned "Picnic Style" wedding at Valley Falls State Park.

Megan got ready for the ceremony in a beautiful home near the falls.  The shade of the grassy lawn and garden was a nice place for a photo before the Bride and Bridesmaids  headed to the falls for the ceremony.

Many times, a photo of the Groom with the ring is posed before the ceremony.  However, It was the most natural of moments when Jim took a second to look at the rings before he headed to the gazebo where the wedding ceremony took place.

There were many lovely moments as Megan waited  with her friends ...

                   ...and many funny ones too.

The Wedding Ceremony, presented by Pastor Frankhouser, was full of good humor and heart-felt words to bless their union.  The ceremony sight was specially selected to give guests a  view of the falls.
The couple took part in a sand ceremony where Megan , represented by the red sand and Jim, represented by the black sand, poured their vials together with the white sand.   The sand ceremony jar will be a lovely keepsake for them as they start their years together as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, time was set aside to take photos of the bridal party and family, but we also saved a few minutes get great photos of the Megan and Jim together.

The end of the day showed guests enjoying cupcakes and giving the Bride and Groom many well wishes for the future.  It was certainly a fun day with a wonderful array of activities and good times.  The great thing about Megan and Jim is their tangible excitement and love for each other.  May it last them for many years to come!

  1. This is such an elegant wedding!! It looks like a perfect wedding. There seems no mess. I really love these photos. I will be tying wedding knot next month at one of the best NYC wedding venues. I hope everything will go smoothly on wedding day.
