Recently, I had the opportunity to spend a day with Megan and Jim. The couple are engaged and planning an awesomely big wedding: Mafia style. The two are fun, compassionate and hard working. They are wonderful for each other.
We had a blast roaming Morgantown to find scenic spots like this to celebrate their engagement. We found great photo opportunities around every corner in historic downtown Morgantown.
Megan and Jim's wedding will be complete with money roses and groomsmen decked out in 1950s zoot suits, so of course, they wanted some great old-fashioned photographs to go along with the theme.
Megan says she isn't one for "floofy" stuff, but a little garden with pink flowers caught her attention. I captured several wonderful shots of she and Jim with these lovely blooms.
Check out that ring! A nice flower vendor on High street gave the happy couple a few flowers to use in their photos. We took advantage of the flowers to show off the shine in that stunning diamond!
Jim is a skilled woodsman and hunter, but he is a true gentleman here as he places a little flower in Megan's hair.
Isn't that guy lucky? Megan flashes him a beautiful smile.
Originally, Megan was bummed to find her favorite Morgantown icon, Woodburn Hall to be under construction, but we didn't give up! This shot will be a classic in their photo collection.
The old iron bridge was a wonderful location for unique and picturesqe photos. There is no doubt that Megan knew what she was doing when our locations were planned.
After a long and cold day of photo taking, even this energetic couple could get a little tired. The trip was well worth it with over 500 photos for the two to choose from. I can't wait to see their wedding. I know for sure that it will be one to remember!
Awesome pics and an awesome couple!
